On the topic of recognition, we’re proud to share that we’ve once again been honoured at the prestigious International Property Awards. These awards are considered some of the highest accolades in the global real estate industry, and now we’ve brought home a total of six over the years. This year, we were awarded for Real Estate Marketing and for Real Estate Agency (Single Office). These achievements are a testament to our team’s dedication and the quality of service we deliver, but also to the support and trust of our clients.
As if that weren’t enough to celebrate, October marks a major milestone for Meridian Realty, our 20th birthday. That’s two decades of building relationships, expanding into new markets, embracing innovation, and continuously refining the way we do business. What started in 2005 as a bold vision by two brothers has grown into a national brand with a footprint in multiple provinces and a team of agents and professionals who are passionate about property and committed to service excellence.
Reflecting on our journey, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come. From opening our first office in Stellenbosch in 2006, to pioneering professional photography and video marketing in 2010, and launching our revolutionary iAgent model in 2014, innovation has always been at the heart of what we do. We've consistently looked for smarter ways to support both our agents and our clients, whether through technology, training, or improved services.
Over the years, we’ve expanded into the Overberg, Garden Route, Gauteng, Eastern Cape, North-West Province, and most recently KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo. Even in challenging economic times, we’ve managed to grow, in our agent numbers, in our market share, and in the depth of our offering.
