Meridian Realty has announced the appointment of Philine van Heerden as its new Operations Manager, strengthening the company’s operational leadership as the residential property sector continues to evolve.
Van Heerden brings nearly two decades of experience in the South African property industry, having been actively involved in the sector since 2005. Her career spans a broad range of disciplines, including conveyancing, foreclosure sales, transaction management and more than 14 years within the property portal environment, giving her a comprehensive, end-to-end view of the residential property value chain.
Her experience across both transactional and digital property platforms has provided her with deep insight into how buyers, sellers, agents and service providers interact within an increasingly data-driven and process-intensive market.
In senior operational roles, Van Heerden has led teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments where efficiency, accuracy and stakeholder coordination are critical. She is known for aligning people, systems and workflows to support scalable growth, while maintaining service quality and operational discipline.
Antonie Goosen, founder and principal of Meridian Realty, said the appointment reflects the business’s focus on strengthening its operational foundations in a more complex market environment. “Residential property has become far more operationally demanding,” said Goosen. “There is increasing pressure on compliance, turnaround times, data accuracy and service delivery. Philine brings a rare combination of deep industry experience and practical operational leadership, which will be critical in supporting our agents and support staff in ensuring a consistently high standard of execution across the business.”
Van Heerden has also built an extensive professional network across the South African property ecosystem through long-standing relationships with industry stakeholders, allowing her to balance strategic planning with practical, on-the-ground operational decision-making.
Goosen said Van Heerden’s appointment would play an important role in enhancing internal efficiency and supporting the company’s continued growth in a competitive and evolving property landscape.
