Bev Josten
Property Practitioner

Bev has had a VERY long career in property, starting back in 1988! After a typical secretarial career, which was the norm, back-in-the-day, Bev chose to give property sales a try. She was told it would take months to establish herself, but she surprised her colleagues and herself, by securing her first sale within the first two weeks of completing her initial training.

There was a short break when Bev’s husband was relocated back to Johannesburg, but on the family’s return to Cape Town, Bev started segmenting herself into the competitive City Bowl property market.  Initially, in sectional title sales and later in residential houses in the Gardens, Oranjezicht, Tamboerskloof and Higgovale areas.

Bev spent the next 18 years with an exclusive company, earning their top Gold Club status for 17 of her 18 years with them. The grounding with them provided thorough legal training and the emphasis was always on upholding totally ethical behaviour at all times. As a result, this is the fabric of Bev’s property dealings, and clients can rest assured that their interests and assets will be dealt with in a thoroughly professional manner at all times.

Always having had a yen for the country and wide-open spaces, Bev relocated from Cape Town to Darling in 2023. Once again, a “dabble into something new” led her to embrace the West Coast lifestyle with arms out wide. Darling with its charming village feel, and the truly warm and welcoming people, and nearby Yzerfontein, with its appealing long coastline, cleanliness and cooling Atlantic sea-breezes, have led her to feel totally at home in this relaxing environment, without a robot in sight.

She looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm with the potential buyers and investors moving into this special part of the world.
