Ruben van Berge is a dedicated and people-focused property professional with a passion for connecting clients with homes that truly fit their needs. Having been active in real estate since 2021, Ruben specialises in the marketing and sale of residential, lifestyle, and sectional title properties throughout the Helderberg region.

A long-time resident of the area, Ruben moved to the Helderberg in 2004 to study at Stellenbosch University, where he completed his BA in Humanities with majors in English and Psychology. His journey then led him to the world of fine dining, completing a Chefs Diploma at the prestigious Institute of Culinary Arts and later establishing the well-known Café Zest in Gordon’s Bay in 2012. His years as a business owner gave him invaluable experience in leadership, client service, and relationship-building. Qualities that now define his approach as a property professional.

Ruben’s clients value his professionalism, integrity, and ethical approach to every transaction. Known for his adaptability and commitment to excellence, he consistently goes the extra mile to ensure a seamless and rewarding property experience for both buyers and sellers. His guiding philosophy is simple yet effective: understand the needs and concerns of your clients first,  everything else naturally falls into place.

Deeply connected to the Helderberg community, Ruben continues to nurture long-standing relationships built over more than a decade as a local business owner. Outside of real estate, he is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys cricket, tennis, fishing, and the outdoors. Family remains the cornerstone of his life and motivation.
